I need to compile a list of well-designed objects I use regularly and love. Most would fall under the category of buy-it-for-life. One such object is the L.L. Bean Boat and Tote, Zip-Top (they make one without a zipper too). It’s a tank of a bag, machine-washable and comfortable to carry, no matter how much stuff is in it. I would say it’s a nearly perfect product, though I do wish it came in all black.
