Without Humans

There was an article in the New Scientist today that I finally got around to reading. It talks about what would happen to Earth if humans disappeared. It’s one of those those things I think about every once in a while. I make no bones about being an environmentalist, but I also believe that commerce can exist in the environmental movement. I also don’t think you have to be some tree-hugging hippy type to be interesting in environmental issues. Even the evangelicals are coming around to the idea that, assuming you believe in god, it’s your duty to guard the environment. Yes, the Earth would be better off without us, but it’s time for people to realize you can do a few things at home and make a tremendous impact.
